Healing Is Being

The path to healing progresses, bringing with it the self-discipline necessary for true recovery. Each person's journey is unique. I have struggled with maintaining focus and concentrating on what truly matters to me. I often fall into patterns of keeping busy, distracting myself, or becoming numb. As I became more conscious of my subconscious programming and coping mechanisms, I was increasingly able to focus and transform them.
There are two important aspects to focus on. One is the awareness of subconscious programming that is directing our life's experiences. Our choices are on automatic pilot, constantly confirming our beliefs. Most belief patterns are formulated by the ego mind and our conditioned upbringing. By becoming aware of these beliefs and resulting behaviors, we can release them. Then we can begin to integrate our truth into our lives. The primary one being we are love and everything stems from that. Our goal is to undo these patterns and adopt our true beings into our lives, allowing our pressence to guide our lives not our egos.
Ultimately healing is being, its the ability to move into and live from Beingness. There is a lot of undoing that needs to happen in order to live in this place of Beingness. It takes committment and self discipline to retrain yourself and create new neural pathways that serve your highest good. It is worth the effort, you are worth the effort. This journey is not for the faint of heart. This is not a woo woo path of acceptance where everything is light and its all ok. Nor is it a path of toxic positivity where you adopt positive affirmations and ignore all things less desirable. This is a path of true authenticity. A willingness to experience whatever arises, becoming aware and tranforming your pain into love. Allowing your true self to shine through brighter and brighter with each step.
This is what I call the hereo's journey.
